EPISODE 1: Allen's Landing

This is where it all started! John Kirby and Augustus Chapman Allen landed here in 1836. The junction of the White Oak and Buffalo Bayous was the perfect starting point to help Houston prosper into a major port.

EPISODE 2: Lee and Joe Jamail Skate Park

Houston’s newest and largest skate park. This in-ground, 30,000 square-foot park is located near downtown and just waiting for you to shred it up!

EPISODE 3: Memorial Park

Originally a military camp during World War 1, this flourishing green space now offers everything from bike trails, sports fields, an 18 hole golf course and even the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center!

EPISODE 4: The Waugh Bridge Bat Colony

Located off Allen Parkway, the Waugh Street bridge bat colony is home to around 250,000 Mexican free-tailed bats. They can be seen swarming out from under the bridge on their nightly quest for insects.
